How to add/edit a chapter team member

Add a chapter team member

Staff - Add New

Step 1

On the Hacking Health dashboard (http://hacking-health.org/wp-admin/), go to Staff > Add New

Enter title here

Step 2

Add the name of the team member in the box with the inscription Enter title here, at the top of the page.

Step 3

Check the box corresponding to the chapter of the team member.

Featured Image

Step 4

Add the team member’s photo using the Featured image box by clicking Set featured image.

Upload Image

Click on the Upload Image tab to download the photo.

Team featured image

Once downloaded, enter an alternative text in the Alt Text box, which will be the name of the team member.
This text will be displayed on the site if the image does not appear, and will help SEO.

Click on Set featured image when done.

Note on the member’s picture

  • Must be square
  • Size of 720 x 720 pixels
  • Resolution: 72 ppi (pixels per inch)
  • File type: JPG

All images must be of the same ratio to be uniform on the screen.
A smaller size could create a blurred image on some screens.
Too much resolution will slow down the display of the site.

Personal Details

Step 5

In the Personal Details box, enter the job title of the team member.

In the Personal Details box, enter the job title of the team member.

You can add the social media accounts of the team member using the Social Box.

Choose an icon using the Social Icon drop-down menu and the account link in the Social Link box.

Publish

Step 6

To publish the member, press the Publish button on the Publish box.

If the member does not appear in your team section, check if the chapter of the member has been checked in the “Department” box.

Edit a chapter team member

Step 1

On the Hacking Health dashboard (http://hacking-health.org/wp-admin/), go to Staff > All Staff.
You can search your team member using the search tool in the right corner.

Note : You can also click on Staff to access the list.

Step 2

Access member’s profile

Click on the member’s name to access their profile, or using the “Edit” link.
(Visible when the mouse is over the name.)

You can edit different boxes:

  • Departments: To modify or add the chapter to which it is involved.
  • Featured Image: To add or edit the member’s photo.
  • Personal Details: To add the job title.
  • Social: To add links to social media accounts.

When finished, click the Update button in the Publish box.
