Hacking Health Sfax

Hacking Health (HH) is a global movement to transform healthcare through creative collaboration between healthcare professionals and technology creators. Some of the ways that HH is transforming healthcare:
– Cafés: where people and ideas mingle. This is where community begins and expands.
– Hackathons: intense, scrappy, and informal in just the right doses. Teams quickly form, collaborate and test ideas with functional prototypes – all in one weekend.
We look forward to meeting you!

Our Vision

We aim to transform healthcare by connecting healthcare professionals with designers, developers, innovators and entrepreneurs like you to build realistic solutions to frontline healthcare problems that can be integrated and implemented into our healthcare system.

Hacking Health Sfax

The Hacking Health Sfax is a special edition of Hacking Health
Sfax annual challenge, an international hackathon that takes place in
cities around the world.
The HH Sfax is an opportunity for developers to build software

FAQ

Hacking Health is an international movement designed to improve healthcare by inviting technology creators and healthcare professionals to collaborate on realistic, human-centric solutions to front-line problems.

A hackathon is best described as an “invention marathon”. Anyone who has an interest in technology attends a hackathon to learn, build and share their creations over the course of a weekend in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. You don’t have to be a programmer and you certainly don’t have to be majoring in Computer Science.

In fact, we are especially looking to build interdisciplinary teams.

Anyone! We actively encourage people from all fields to apply, however, only selected hackers will be chosen to participate.

On the final day, there will be an opportunity for the public to watch the final pitch presentations and get involved. Free admission tickets will be released via Eventbrite closer to the time.

There are many opportunities to meet potential team members, get started by creating a new project or join an existing problem on Sparkboard.

A number of prizes will be offered, and details are in the works.

Check back here for updates!

The judging criteria include:

  • Innovation potential
  • Impact of the project
  • Execution of the project
  • Design and user experience of the prototype
  • Presentation of the project
