HH Halifax Café & Chapter Launch
April 14, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Join us at Hacking Health Halifax Café on April 14
Be a part of the first Hacking Health chapter in Atlantic Canada!
Hacking Health Cafés are informal meetups to discuss and debate digital health topics – where people and ideas mingle.
Hacking Health aims to transform healthcare by connecting healthcare professionals with designers, developers, innovators and entrepreneurs to build realistic, human-centric solutions to front-line healthcare problems.
We’ll be hosting cafes and workshops leading up to a weekend hackathon in November 2016.
Who should attend? Anyone is welcome, so long as you have a passion for innovation and a willingness to share your expertise. Health professionals, hackers and makers, entrepreneurs and innovators – everyone can contribute!
We’re pleased to announce our guest speaker and panel moderator, Luc Sirois, co-founder of Hacking Health! Luc is a driven business leader with 20 years experience in technological innovation, business development, entrepreneurship, strategy, general management, business creativity and transformation. He co-founded and successfully sold a software and hardware company and he is an engaged leader and co-founder of the Hacking Health movement for collaborative innovation in healthcare and beyond.
**Thanks to IWK Health Centre, Nova Scotia Health Authority and Innovacorp for sponsoring our first cafe!**
