What the future holds for ACA, Medicare, and Medicaid in 2017

February 6, 2017 @ 6:30 pm

Adam Sabloff, one of NYC’s best healthtech startup CEO will be joining us to discuss what 2017 holds for ACA, Medicare, and Medicaid and why (and how) population health management is becoming increasingly important for healthcare systems.

More about the event:

We are happy to bring you yet another awesome meetup on a very interesting and hot topic: Population Health. Pay-for-Value reform is keeping healthcare organizations challenged on many aspects. As much as providers and payers are trying to keep up and innovate on care delivery and value-based treatments, biggest struggle still remains: IT system, data management and reporting – in other words creating ecosystem that measures and helps in managing patient outcomes. There is still no established baseline on performance improvement and standardized way of measuring the results.

With that in mind, population health management has become the most important topic than ever. It strives to not just improve pay-for-performance reporting and the health outcomes of the population but impact the way deliver care to our patients, understand 360-degree view of their behavior and most importantly, reduce costs.  Established thought leaders in health care industry have identified at least 12 criteria on evaluating the PHM technology solutions for healthcare systems. This gives a good understanding of how comprehensive and strategically important these technologies are.

About the Virtual Health:

Virtual Health, NYC based population health management platform, managed to build the solution that goes above and beyond that! With 1.5 millions of lives under its management – Virtual Health is the fastest growing population health management company in New York. Adam Sabloff, CEO of the company, will be joining us to discuss “Healthcare in 2017: What the future holds for ACA, Medicare, and Medicaid“ – to help us understand where the value-based care stands today and what to expect in near future.

Briefly about Adam: Passionate about healthcare delivery, Virtual Health CEO Adam Sabloff conceptualized the first true end-to-end ecosystem purposely built for value-based care. Under his leadership, the company has completed a Series A round led by growth equity firm Edison Partners, seen rapid customer adoption (1000 percent year over year growth) and deployment by some of the biggest health plans in the country. Since its commercial launch in 2014, Virtual Health has gone from being leveraged in managing 1,500 to nearly 1.5 million patient lives across Medicaid, Medicare and commercial populations.
